(Los Angeles: John Gibson) The background to a special recall election in California for state senator David Roberti in which anti-gun control groups are pushing for his ouster featured. [ROBERTI, pro-gun activist Ed BRADWAY - comment.] The schoolyard massacre in Stockton, California, in January 1989 said precipitating Roberti's bill against assault rifles. [State senate candidate Bill SEBENS, gun control activist Sarah BRADY - campaign against and for Roberti.] [ROBERTI - cites death threats.] The high cost of this recall election to the taxpayers at a time of financial cutbacks mentioned.
