(Washington: Andrea Mitchell) The regulators' release of documents about the failure of the Madison Guaranty Savings and Loan owned by the Clintons' former business partner examined; sections of the papers about check kiting at the S&L quoted; stacks of paper shown. [Former FDIC (Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation) chairman William SEIDMAN - explains what happened at the S&L.] Special counsel Robert Fiske said also looking at Madison's failed plan to develop Campobello Island, off Maine, to see if Madison money was used to pay off old debts for Bill Clinton and into the suicide of Vince Foster. [CLINTON - says there have been no suggestions of wrongdoing.]
