(Pentagon: Ed Rabel) United States Army Secretary Togo West's order of a complete search of all ranks in the United States military for any evidence of membership in racist organizations or other hate groups by military personnel in the wake of last week's murder in North Carolina of a black couple by white servicemen announced. [WEST - makes the announcement; says the North Carolina case was isolated.] The case in which Army privates James Burmeister, Malcolm Wright and Spec. Randy Meadows are suspected of killing Michael James and Jackie Burden in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, reviewed. [Southern Poverty Law Center Joe ROY - says white supremacy groups are targeting the military for new recruits.]
