(San Salvador: Mike Boettcher) The breaking of their silence by El Salvador national guardsmen who had been imprisoned for the rape and murder of four church workers in 1980 featured. [Pvt. Daniel RAMIREZ - (thru translator) say the military ordered the murders of the nuns suspected of sympathizing with the Communists.] The Salvadoran's government's convincing President Ronald Reagan that the murder was an accident recalled. [Former ambassador to El Salvador Robert WHITE - says it was a government assassination ordered by Lieutenant Colonel Casanova.] [Retired general Carlos Vides CASANOVA - (thru translator) denies any role in the planning or coverup.]
