(Studio) Voting Rights Act expires next year Admin. asks Congress to replace it with new act covering 50 states. Committee 12-3 against new bill because it will drag down all such laws. Admin. to compromise. NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) convention conts. to blast Nixon.
