(Studio) UMW, coal companies and Interior Department failed to provide health and safety for miners. Gassy or dangerous conditions present at this mine. Such conditions present at this mine. Such conditions preventable. 1 of every 2 coal miners hit with lung disease. In September, President sent tougher coal mine safety proposals to Congress Nothing done. Coal miners not really repd. Will Congress allow coal miners to be made cheaper than coal?
