(Spartanburg, SC: Mark Strassmann) Nationwide fund-raising campaign by firefighters raising money for the families of firefighters killed during the September 11 attack and to buy a new fire truck for the New York City fire department in order to repay a 134-year-old debt featured; scenes shown from Spartanburg and Columbia, SC. [Fundraiser organizer Don CRANFILL - says firefighters are like a family.] [Volunteer Angela TUCKER - says accents change, but the brotherhood across the country is the same.] [Fire Chief Phil JOLLEY - says the firefighters wanted to raise money for the other firefighters.]
