Tape shown courtesy CBS Sports. Jim Thorpe's victory in 1912 Olympic Decathlon and his being called world's greatest athlete by King Gustaf of Sweden recounted. British decathlete Daley Thompson featured as best of Olympic field. [American decathlete Fred DIXON - commends Thompson.] [THOMPSON - does mock advertisement and talks about wanting to be a decathlon champion.] Jim Thorpe's response to King Gustaf's compliment recalled.
