(Studio) President Carter's call for unified opposition to USSR invasion of Afghanistan recalled; reaction on Capitol Hill after learning that US companies can sell grain grown elsewhere to USSR noted.

(DC) United States exporters with overseas grain subsidiaries recalled agreeing not to sell USSR grain last year after Carter's announcement of embargo; Agriculture Department reported giving go-ahead to grain shipments to Russia.
