Apparent crackdown on terrorism mentioned; General Kenan Evren's control and order for house arrest of prime minister Suleiman Demirel and opposition leader Bulent Ecevit as well as others, reported Mil. rulers said assuring NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) and other allies that foreign debts will be honored.
