(Studio) 3 arrested after murder attempt on Mayor Charles Evers. Former leader of Ku Klux Klan splinter group, Dale Walton, charged with crime.,

(Fayette, Mississippi) Judge Evers turns meeting over to Mayor pro tempore. [EVERS - explains how lady warned him.] Walton attorney says no evidence to support charge. Bond set at $10,000. Walton bound to grand jury. City attorney Martha Wood introduces 5 guns from Walton's car into evidence. Walton charged with attempted murder, concealed weapons, and speeding.
