(South Bend, Indiana: Mike von Fremd) The arraignment in an Indiana court for Madelyne Gorman Toogood, who was videotaped beating her child in a parking lot in Mishawaka, Indiana, featured; surveillance tape shown. [On "Good Morning America," TOOGOOD - admits she beat her child; states her family should take care of the girl.] [Child protective Services attorney Michael GOTSCH†- says the child admitted she was struck by her mother.] [Prosecutor Christopher TOTH†- says the family is uncooperative & transient.] [Retired Dallas police detective Steven HAYNES†- says "travellers" can make a hundred grand a year.]
