(Studio) Sotheby’s auction of the art collection acquired by late German industrialist Robert Von Hirsch reported.

(London, England) The bidding at Sotheby’s in London & via phone from Sotheby Parke Bernet in New York featured; details given about Von Hirsch’s background and of paintings in his collection including works by Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Pablo Picasso & Pierre Renoir; scenes shown of bidding on a Durer watercolor. [AUCTIONEER – accepts bids in British pounds.] Experts’ underestimation of the amount the auction would bring noted.
