(State Department: Andrea Koppel) The US reaction to the long-awaited U.N. weapons inspections report featured. [Secretary of State Colin POWELL - says Iraq has not yet accepted disarmament as demanded by Resolution 1441; states the issue is how much more time Iraq should be given to come clean.] President Bush's meeting this week with the prime ministers of Britain & Italy noted. The timeframe for a "brief extension" of inspections discussed.
