(Baghdad: Mark Phillips) The launching by US troops in Iraq of another massive security sweep called Operation Desert Scorpion following the ending of the weapons amnesty program featured; scenes shown of another ambush near Balad & from Fallujah, where the anger at Americans remains high. [Army Col. David PERKINS†- says the Baathist Party is likely paying people to shoot at Americans.] The reason why few Iraqis are giving up their guns outlined.
