(Washington: Wyatt Andrews) The environmental & political impact of the government’s rollback in clean air regulations for many power plants examined; details of the new rule, which removes the requirement for companies to buy air pollution devices, outlined. [Natural Resources Defense Council John WALKE- says today is the biggest assault on clean air and the biggest enforcement scandal ever to rock EPA.] [EPA acting administrator Marianne HORINKO- says this will encourage facilities to become more efficient & reduce emissions.]
