(Mexico City, Mexico) In basketball, United States beat Senegal 93-36. United States women's volleyball team lost 2nd match to Czechoslovakia 3-1. In track, 3 American women advanced to 100 meter dash. Bob Seagren fouled on 1st try. 2nd try shown; he qualifies for finals in men's pole vaulting. Medals won so far by Kenya, Iran, Tunisia, Hungary, Ethiopia and Poland. Chart shown. ABC to air games at 7 p.m. EST.
