(Los Angeles, California) John DeLorean's unsuccessful efforts to raise bail on drug chgs. examined; attorney Joseph Ball said heading DeLorean's defense Ball recalled member of Warren Commission which investigated assassination of John F. Kennedy. [BALL - describes client's mood; comments on bail.] FBI noted placing undercover agent at Eureka Federal Savings in San Carlos, California, to monitor DeLorean's financial transactions. [Eureka president Ken. KIDWELL - acknowledges bank's participation in investigation.] Similarities of Abscam investigation with probe into activities of DeLorean, William Hetrick and Stephen Arrington noted.
