(Studio) Govt. said continuing with prosecutions of those failing to register for draft despite judge's ruling that draft registration is unconstitutional.

(DC) Judge Terry Hatter's rule that registration law was invalid noted freeing resister David Wayte. [WAYTE - reacts to ruling.] Registration law recalled signed by Jimmy Carter in 1980; Hatter's ruling outlined, discussed. White House failure to allow federal documents released and questioning of aide Edwin Meese said affecting Hatter's ruling. [Draft Action president Barry LYNN, Attorney General William French SMITH - react differently to ruling.] No. indicted since registration began outlined on screen. [Resister Rusty MARTIN - thinks Meese's testimony and White House documents are crucial to his case.] Admin.'s general reaction noted.
