(Studio) Prior to his departure for Europe next week, President Reagan said announcing plans to abide by unratified Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) II as long as USSR adheres to its principles as well. Secretary of State Alexander Haig's recent comment on treaty recalled. Motive in adhering to Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) II in light of Pres's desire to being START noted.
