(Glen Canyon/Lake Powell, Utah: Judy Muller) The lost canyon in Lake Powell, Utah, that was uncovered by the worst drought in 500 years featured; scenes shown of Glen Canyon in the Colorado River, including the Cathedral of the Desert, an enormous cavern that had been underwater. [Glen Canyon Inst. Chris PETERSON†, Dr. Rich INGEBRETSON†- rhapsodize about the almost mythical cathedral/canyon.] The Glen Canyon Inst.'s argument that the river water could be stored in Lake Mead instead of Lake Powell noted. [Secretary of Interior Gale NORTON†- talks about the need for both lakes.]
