(Pentagon: Jim Miklaszewski) The reports that Al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi is wounded or dead reviewed; statement from terror group Ansar al-Sunnah†† quoted. [Iraqi Interior Minister Bayan JABR†- says the rumors are true.] [US Army Brig. Gen. Carter HAM†- predicts Zarqawi’s fate will have little impact on Al Qaeda in Iraq.] The deaths of several Iraqis in suicide bombings in Baghdad noted.
