(Baghdad: Reena Ninan) The situation in Iraq updated; details given on a visit by Iraq's defense minister to the bombed Amman, Jordan, Hyatt, the final phase of Operation Steel Curtain, a bombing at a Baghdad apartment complex, and the death of 3 more US soldiers.

(Studio: Rick Folbaum) Statement by the judge presiding over the trial of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein that the trial will continue despite defense attorneys' protests that they do not have enough protection, and a statement by Iraqi President Jalal Talabani that British troops could withdraw from Iraq by the end of next year noted.
