[January 6, Representative Thomas O'NEILL - fears deficits threaten both recovery and Congress] Estimated deficit so far and debt limit raised by Congress outlined on screen, discussed. Senator refusal to hear legislature pertaining to deficits recalled. Congress's confirmation of Interior Secretary-designate William Clark, passage of defense package, approval of credit to IMF and approval of milk subsidies noted. National debt when Congress returns in January anticipated.
