(Studio) John F. Kennedy recalled assassinated 20 years ago today in Dallas, Texas. Kennedy family and public memorial services examined; films shown. [Caroline KENNEDY - reads speech father intended to give in Dallas.] Senator Edward Kennedy quoted. [KENNEDY - recalls brother.] Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis mentioned at Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port with Rose Kennedy; John Kennedy, Junior noted doing graduate work in India. Dallas memorial service at assassination site said last on November 22, due to Kennedy family's desire that such memorials take place on JFK's May birthday.

(Dallas, Texas) Conspiracy theorists Larry Harris and Sherry Gertler noted planning Dallas meeting with other conspiracy buffs. [HARRIS - considers it a pilgrimage.] [Author David LIFTON - believes his theory explains contradictions surrounding JFK's murder.] Zapruder film and other scenes from assassination events, include Jack Ruby's shooting of Lee Harvey Oswald, shown, discussed; Warren Commission and House Assassination Committee's opposite conclusions discussed; public belief in conspiracy noted. Researcher Mary Ferrell's role in composing largest existing archive on Kennedy murder and discovery of pol ice audio tape indicating gunman other than Oswald noted. [FERRELL - explains commitment to research, her suspicions about Oswald.]
