(Kennedy Space Center: Bob Orr) The debate over whether to proceed with tomorrow’s launch of the space shuttle Discovery following new foam concerns featured; scenes shown of the broken piece of foam. [Mission management team chairman John SHANNON†- says it would not have caused any damage.] [Shuttle tank manager John CHAPMAN†- says we’re more comfortable with the ability to potentially fly.]
