(New Orleans: Brian Williams) A visit with New Orleans firefighters, who are quietly doing their job despite their losses from Hurricane Katrina, presented; scenes shown from Engine 7 firehouse, which now operates from a trailer. [Deputy fire chief Glenn TRAINOR†- says many of these guys lost their homes and stayed and worked.] [Fire Capt. Robert TOURRES†- says you don’t do it for the money.] [Fire Department superintendent Charles PARENT†- notes most of the guys work in a trailer and go home to a trailer.] [Rig operator Steve LAMBERT††- comments on rebuilding his house.] The hope for funding from the Leary Firefighters Foundation founded by actor Denis Leary†† noted.
