(DC) Reagan campaign chairperson Senator Paul Laxalt reported blaming team which prepared Reagan for his poor debate performance. [LAXALT - attributes his loss to "brutalization" by debate process.] Laxalt said apparently placing blame on Michael Deaver, Richard Darman and James Baker. [REAGAN - attributes his performance to burdens of incumbency.]
