(San Diego: George Lewis) The situation in the fire zone updated; details given on most San Diego evacuees heading back home while other areas remain closed; scenes shown of firefighters, who appear to finally be getting the upper hand, and evacuees leaving Qualcomm Stadium, and President Bush’s tour of the damage. [San Diego County Supervisor Ron ROBERTS†- says it’s still serious but there’s been a lot of good news.] [COUPLE – comment on their destroyed home.] [Outside Ramona, several PEOPLE – complain about not being let back in.] [BUSH – promises help.] Arson investigations into some of the fires noted.
