(Studio) Billie Sol Estes, before Texas grand jury, said claiming Lyndon Johnson was involved in 1961 plot to murder federal agriculture official Henry Marshall.

(Franklin, Texas) [Former Texas Ranger Clint PEOPLES - denies Marshall was able to commit suicide.] Marshall's investigation in 1961 into cotton acreage allotments assigned Estes and his alleged suicide with bolt action rifle requiring several shots recalled; films shown. [ESTES - explains today's testimony.] Prosecutor said granting Estes immunity for testimony. [Dist. attorney John PASCHALL - relates Estes' testimony on meeting of LBJ, Malcolm Wallace, Clifton Carter and himself to discuss Marshall and Robert F. Kennedy's investigation of Estes' relationship with Johnson.] Reaction of Johnson spokesperson quoted.
