[August 25, 1948, CHAMBERS - accuses Hiss of lying.] Background to Chambers-Hiss affair, and Chambers' relationship with Richard Nixon, recalled; photos shown. [REAGAN - quotes Arthur Kessler in praising Chambers.] American left's perception of Chambers' role in perpetuating Cold War noted.
