(Studio) Los Angeles schools found guilty of racial discrimination in court; Judge orders them integrated by next September 4 South states frustrate efforts to integrate by forbidding busing. Major complaint among South leaders is North segregation allowed, but patterns changing often under control.

(Shaker Heights, Ohio) Shaker Heights affluent suburb; gradually blacks have moved in; now 35% black. Lucille Anderson, associate director of organization to keep neighborhood stable. [ANDERSON - encourages white families to move into integrated areas.] [Prof. Anne PRUITT - says difficult to keep neighborhood integrated.]
