(Studio) Chicago Seven trial resumes.
REPORTER: Frank Reynolds

(Chicago, Illinois) Attorney William Kunstler lays groundwork for his own imprisonment. Kunstler explodes in anger over Judge Julius Hoffman's refusing to offer Ralph Abernathy as defense witness. Kunstler says defendants going to jail because of legal lynching. Kunstler ordered not to announce court's denial of witness to jury, but he did. Govt. claims Kunstler's action prejudiced prosecution's case. Judge says will allow Abernathy to testify.
