(New York City) Status of former Israeli defense minister Ariel Sharon's libel suit against "Time" magazine examined. [SHARON - accuses "Time" of lying.] [Attorney Milton GOULD - believes secret Israeli government documents establish veracity of Sharon's claims.] Time's account of secret report on 1982 Lebanese Phalange massacre of Palestinians in Beirut refugee camp recalled claiming Sharon met with Phalangists to discuss need for them to revenge assassination of president-elect Bashir Gemayel. Israeli Judge Yitzhak Kahan's disagreement with "Time" version quoted on screen. ["Time" spokesperson Mike LUFTMAN - claims magazine has been denied crucial info.]
