Peace talks still stalled. Viet Cong chief negotiator arrives at Paris airport. Paris film shown. Tran Buu Kiem greeted by 400 supporters. Rptd. to have been conciliatory in remarks. Supporters at airport are Vietnam refugees. Nguyen Cao Ky criticized by Senator George McGovern.

(DC) [MCGOVERN - blames Saigon government for Peace Talks delay, especially General Ky and cronies. Does not believe Ky and crowd should dictate United States foreign policy. Believes Ky a tin-horn dictator, causing loss of American life.]

(Studio) McGovern calls for immediate withdrawal of 1/2 United States forces in Vietnam, with remainder in easily defended situations. McGovern believes it's not worth 1 American's life.
