(Studio) Yesterday's indictments of General Dynamics and several past and present execs. for fraud recalled; temporary suspension of further defense contracts announced.

(DC) NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) administration and former General Dynamics executive James Beggs reported taking leave of absence due to indictment for fraud while General Dynamics administration [BEGGS - declines comment.] Press spokesperson Larry Speakes quoted on screen. [Representative Don FUQUA - supports Beggs' decision to leave NASA.] Defense contracts already ordered and not affected by government's suspension of General Dynamics listed on screen. [Representative John DINGELL - feels government action is inconsequential to defense contractors' fraud.]
