(Bitburg, West Germany) Level of controversy in West Germany over issue, stemming from SS graves at cemetery, examined; films shown. [KOHL - (thru translator) praises Reagan's commitment to visit.] Criticism of visit by German parliament member Hans-Jochen Vogel outlined. [MAN - defs. SS troops; has no use for opponents of Reagan's visit.] Former Chancellor Willy Brandt noted pointing out that SS massacred large number Americans in Belgium in December, 1944; historical films shown. [BRANDT - cites cemetery's symbolism.] [Margaretha JAIKO - (thru translator) defs. visit.] Jaiko's brother, buried in Bitburg, noted SS ofr. Karl Maier.
