(Joplin, Missouri: Ron Allen) The search for shelter for the homeless after the tornado in Joplin, Missouri featured; scenes shown of a circus elephant helping move debris, a mobile clinic, the damaged Home Depot and the high school with a “Hope” sign. [Joplin resident Tina DUDLEY‡- says we need housing but we also lost our cars.] [FEMA’s Libby TURNER†- says we want to enable people to stay as close to the city as possible.] [Restaurant owner Zim HAMITI†- says we’re looking for a grand reopening soon.]
