(Studio) Mitchell's testimony today has changed considerably from previous comments on his relationship to Watergate scandal. Mitchell comments from September 5, 1972, April 14, 1973, and April 18, 1973, reviewed. All those times he absolutely denied any knowledge of bugging or the connection of anyone on Nixon campaign or in Nixon administration with Watergate scandal. Alfred Baldwin says believed he was working for Mitchell when he monitored Watergate bug.

(DC) Grand jury also hears testimony from President attorney Herbert Kalmbach. Kalmbach said to have paid $300,000 to saboteurs. James McCord attorney Bernard Fensterwald files suit for McCord against Nixon reelection committee Maurice Stans and Hugh Sloan, reelection committee 's finance chairperson and treasurer respectively, said by McCord to have had prior knowledge of bugging operation and to have approved it. McCord also charges Jeb Magruder with directing bugging operations. James McCord asks Judge John Sirica to alter his bond papers so he can go to London to appear on TV.
