[Congress Silvio CONTE - says under old bill he could go to any college, include Harvard, and still have $100 left over for pocket money.] Vets. now must look for colleges with low tuition. [Vets. project, Rutgers University, spokesperson Angel RODRIGUEZ - says vets. projects being cut off and money impounded.] Very few high school graduates going to college under GI bill. High school dropouts rarely go on to college. University of California at Los Angeles has crash program for dropouts to get them to college.
