Women soldiers freed men of rear area duties, include manning antiaircraft guns and capturing downed United States pilots. Soldiers glad United States gone; feel won victory. POW camp guards angry when reporters openly ridicule their idyllic descriptions prisoners of war life. Guards and soldiers at times appear very severe.

(Capitol Hill) [ITT Chairperson Harold GENEEN - says ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation) took no steps to block election Marxist President Salvadore Allende.] Geneen admits ITT offered CIA money to support Allende's chief opponent. After offer turned down ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation) chief John McCone met with Henry Kissinger and offered government $1 million for any action to keep Allende from becoming president Geneen approved offer. If Senator finds ITT (International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation) tried to block Allende from becoming president company could lose $90 million in insurance from government for losses in Chile.
