(Studio) E. Howard Hunt a convicted Watergate spy. Mrs. Hunt died last December in plane crash. In her purse 100 $100 bills were found. Speculation is that bills were money to pay people off to keep quiet about spying. Senate Watergate committee continues investigations.

Investigators looking into allegations of a contractor that Stans, while still Secretary Commerce, vetoed multimillion dollar settlement for cost overruns 3 days after contractor refused to make campaign donation requested by Nixon attorney Herbert Kalmbach.

Postcard was sent to 1/2 million Democrat voters in California, supposedly from some Democrat committee Asked for contributions to be sent to committee , but warned people not to vote Democrat Cts. later discovered postcards were actually sent by Nixon For Governor campaign. Cts. found Nixon personally approved plan. Also involved were Herbert Klein, Herbert Kalmbach, Caspar Weinberger, Maurice Stans and H.R. Haldeman. This was in 1962.
