Michigan Republicans favor detente and treaty with Panama. 45% of Ford voters attracted by his experience; 4% attracted to Reagan's experience. Ford got more voters on honesty and trust issues. Ford's political org. superior to Reagan. Crossover votes didn't cross over because busing no longer an issue here.
