(DC) Threat of impeachment used to force Fortas from Supreme Court [Representative Robert TAFT - calls it possibility.] [Senator Robert GRIFFIN - says more information might come down.] Fortas under fire for accepting and later returning $20,000 from Wolfson Foundation. If he doesn't resign, impeachment serious prospect. As of now, Fortas has no intention of resigning. Griffin and Taft propose new law requiring Federal judges to report outside income.
